‘Ojas’—Sanskrit for ‘the essence of vitality’—is the wellness centre at the heart of the Estate. It rises from a jungle-fringed clearing close to where the Ayung and Tibakauh rivers merge. We welcome you to rediscover balance through our new innovative health-tech therapies and time-honoured restorative treatments, designed to renew the body and quiet the mind.
Immerse yourself in our private ice bath, which creates a rush of fresh, oxygenated blood to the organs, helping to reduce inflammation and improve post-workout recovery. Other benefits include improved mood, sleep, and emotional balance. For first-timers, this experience also includes guided breathwork exercises.
Our infrared sauna is a modern take on traditional heat therapy. Infrared lights are heated to 75°C, warming the body directly and enhancing its natural detoxification process. The infrared technology also encourages blood circulation and helps to reduce inflammation, with specific settings to choose from based on your wellness goals.
A restorative blend of molecular hydrogen and oxygen is delivered to the body during an Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy session. It supports the body’s natural healing process and helps to improve cognitive function, sleep quality, and energy levels, making this therapy ideal for jetlagged travellers.
Find balance between two extremes. Contrast Therapy alternates between an infrared sauna and ice bath to encourage circulation, strengthen the immune system, and reduce post-workout soreness.
This colonic treatment uses purified water to safely and comfortably cleanse the colon of toxins and waste. This helps to rebalance the digestive system for relief from constipation and other gastrointestinal concerns.
Enhance your wellness journey with our comprehensive facilities, including a hydrotherapy pool, a fully-equipped fitness centre, nine spacious treatment rooms and three outdoor treatment pavilions with a view of the Balinese forest. The nine treatment rooms at Ojas Wellness Centre include a couples’ treatment room, and a room for Ayurvedic therapies.
Our Vitality pool features heated, mineral-rich water from the Kedara spring. High-pressure jets are used for gentle massage and exercise, helping to soothe and protect the joints and muscles.
The cold plunge pool helps with post-workout recovery and reduces inflammation, while a session in the sauna or steam rooms allow you to unwind before your treatment.
Our new dedicated fitness centre offers a birds-eye view of the Estate's main courtyard. Other fitness facilities include a Pilates studio, yoga bale and pavilion, and a 25-metre pool.
Guests also have the option of enjoying their COMO Shambhala treatments in our outdoor pavilions and baths, located near the Kedara Water Garden.
