Our wellness centre at COMO Uma Punakha is a completely unique experience because of where it is nestled, in a sacred Bhutanese valley. Facilities and treatments are inspired and embedded in the spirit of a powerful Himalayan-Buddhist culture.
A Sense of Place
Built of handcrafted stone, wood and tiles, our Uma suites feel at once Bhutanese and luxurious with wood furniture vividly painted with flowers by local artists. Indian cotton bedcovers have hand-stitched patterns paying homage to Bhutan’s Buddhist culture and colours, and hand-knotted rugs come from nearby Nepal.

COMO Shambhala Retreat overlooks the twisting Mo Chhu river and provides a range of holistic, Asian-inspired treatments. Treatments are also available to non-staying guests.
